A poem I wrote regarding November.
November
November you have done it!
You have silenced October’s spooks
You have chased away the witches
You have spelt their evil brew
And sucked it into your cool grounds.
November you have done it!
You have drenched the bonfires of demons
You scattered the eerie ghosts
You have put all fictitious characters to sleep
And returned them to their graves.
November you have done it!
You have helped us to set aside foolishness
You have healed us from ghoulishness
You have prepared our spirits for gratefulness
And filled our hearts with thanksgiving.
